Larne v Crusaders Preview

Crusaders are off on their travels on Monday night in the first of four away games in the coming weeks when they head to Larme and Inver Park to play yet another big game in the Danske Bank Premiership. Crusaders where left frustrated in their last game against Institute and will want to get a win again while Larne are looking a win also as they sit just inside the top half of the table.

Crusaders have trained well in the last week and are ready for a game they will feel they should win. We wait too see if Stephen Baxter decides to change his starting XI with several coming back from injury but Gerard Doherty should start in nets with Billy Joe Burns and Colin Coates starting and possibly Chris Hegarty returning alongside Jarlath O'Rourke.  Howard Beverland and Kyle Owens are also both available to start alongside Colin Coates while Michael Ruddy will push Jarlath for the left back slot. Midfield should see the return of Paul Heatley and Rory Hale after suspension with Philip Lowry, Declan Caddell and Ross Clarke filling the other places across the middle. Jordan Forsythe could also be in contention for a return if passed fit after injury so he could be slipped at the expense of those already mentioned. Jordan Owens and Jamie McGonigle will slug it out for a place up front.

Larne by the standard they feel they need to be playing at will be disappointed at their league position and three points will help them change that. They lost five out of six games in October going out of two competitions and slipping down the league before beating Ballymena Utd 3-0 last time out. They have quality all round the pitch from Conor Devlin in goals, Albert Watson and Chris Ramsey in defence, Davy McDaid and Martin Donnelly in midfield and Jonny McMurray up front to name a few. These players are all seasoned Irish League players who have seen and done it over the years and Crusaders will be ready to go up against them come kick off. They will look to the 2-2 draw at Seaview earlier in the season and see what they can improve to try and beat Crusaders.

So all set for a cracking game in front of Sky Sports cameras. Crusaders supporters can buy tickets on line at priced at £12 & £8. Look out for further information about the best places to park before heading to the ground also. Let's see and hear you at Inver on Monday night  and help get your team back to winning ways in what is a busy month. Keep The Faith.
