Dungannon Swifts v Crusaders Preview

Crusaders are on their travels again on Saturday when Stangmore Park is the destination to play Dungannon Swifts in the latest Danske Bank Premiership game. Back to winning ways the last few weeks Crusaders will again look for another three points to finish the month unbeaten while Dungannon Swifts will want get points on the board having not having won in the Premiership since September.

Crusaders will have virually everyone to choose from and Stephen Baxter will have the job of picking the starting XI from it. The team could possibly remained unchanged from last weeks which means Billy Joe Burns, Colin Coates, Howard Beverland and Jarlath O'Rourke forming the defence in front of Gerard Doherty. The hard working midfield last week did well and Philip Lowry, Rory Hale, Jordan Forsythe and Ross Clarke could do it all again while Jamie McGonigle and Jordan Owens are forming a decent partnership up front and should start this one. It is the first return for Jarlath O'Rourke,  Chris Hegarty and Paul McElroy since leaving Dungannon last season and they will up for this if selected to play. Another three points will keep the pressure on the top two and with the busy December month ahead it will be important to stay in the mix and come out in the new year in a favoured position in the table.

Dungannon Swifts have had it tough the last few months after a good start inder Kris Lindsay but it is days like this that he will have his side believing a win could turn it all round. The Swifts always give Crusaders a hard game at Stangmore and we have not had it all our own way the last few visits. Dungannon Swifts will look to bounce back from last weeks heavy defeat to Glentoran and Crusaders will be wary of the backlash. Mark Patton and Alan Teggart along with ex Crusaders player Michael Carvill are the main men to watch.

It would be great to see you travel to the game which has a 3pm start. Admission is the usual £12 & £8 and with your support we can take the three points back up the road. See you at the game. Keep The Faith.
