Crusaders v Dungannon Swifts Preview

The holiday season just keeps bringing us games and on Saturday Dungannon Swifts come to Seaview in the latest Danske Bank Premiership one. A disappointing loss to Cliftonville on Boxing Day will push Crusaders to get back to winning inmmediately while Dungannon Swifts will be looking to compete after a 5-0 drubbing to Glenavon on Thursday.

Stephen Baxter may take the chance to rest a few players after three very tough games in the last few weeks. Jordan Forsythe is back from a one match suspension while Colin Coates may come back into the frame depending on how his injury is. Howard Beverland missed Thursdays game through illness and again he could make himself available so already there are options to change. It is hard to predict the team but Gary Thompson, Paul McElroy and Michael Ruddy will be hoping for a start after being on the bench for the last few weeks and could be given game time to show what they have.

Dungannon Swifts are currently in free fall but it is games like this that can turn seasons around. They sit in 10th place in the table with one win in twelve but manager Kris Lindsay will keep going and push his players on. Crusaders won the last meeting between the sides 6-1 and "The Swifts" will not want that again. The loss of Sam Johnston through injury in nets has affected the team along with a few other key players missing while Oisin Smyth and Ryan Waide are the two to watch in front of goal.

So a quick turnaround and of course we want you there. We know that you will follow through thick and thin and get behind Stephen and the team no matter what and Saturday is one of those days. Admission is £12 & £8 and season tickets are also valid. Get the colours on and come down for the game and give the lads your support. Keep The Faith.
