Coleraine v Crusaders Preview

Friday night football for Crusaders this week and we travel to the Coleraine Showgrounds to play Coleraine (7.45pm) as the battle for top spot in the Danske Bank Premiership hots up. Crusaders are starting to get back to winning ways after a frustrating few weeks sround Christmas while Coleraine have also stumbled lately and are looking to find form again.

Crusaders line up will be changed again for the game and expect Gerard Doherty to be i nets again as the keepers are rotated. We wait too see if Colin Coates makes it back from injury but Howard Beverland, Rodney Brown and  Chris Hegarty will be ready to start if Stephen Baxters decides to return Billy Joe Burns to his rightful position meaning Jordan Forsythe possibly moving forward. Jarlath O'Rourke should make the fourth player in defence. Midfield will be reshuffled from last weeks cup win and we could see the return of Declan Caddell or even possibly Ross Clarke from injury but it will be a tough decision in that area as to who starts. Jamie McGonigle shouls start again against his old club while Jordan Owens will partner him. It is must win game and the home work has been done so it will be up to the team picked to get the result.

Coleraines league form has suffered of late with only two wins in the last seven league outings but Oran Kearneys side will look to change that stat once the game starts. Coleraine have had the slightly upper hand on Crusaders of late and they will look to that for inspiration but at the same time know the threat Crusaders have and will respect that. They have talent all round the side but Eoin Bradley, James McLaughlin and Ben Doherty are all in top form and share 24 goals between them in league and league cup so need to taken seriously. Aaron Canning and Aaron Traynor are another two that need consideration.

So we are set for another massive game between these two sides. We want you there as always on this journey so your travelling to support us will be appreciated. Admission is £12 & £8 and Crusaders supporters are in the usual away end and through the usual turnstiles at the Showgrounds. Let's hear you get behind the team and show what the club means to everyone both on and off the pitch. Keep The Faith.
