Next for Crusaders is the visit of Institute to Seaview in the latest round of the Danske Bank Premiership. Stalemate in the North Belfast Derby on Tuesday night sees Crusaders now ten points off the the leaders with eight games to go so a win is a must. Institute also badly need the points to escape the automatic relegation spot so we may see an exciting game with the stakes high.
Sean O'Neill will continue in goal and with Howard Beverland back in the squad after suspension he may have at best a place on the bench if Stephen stays with his back four again from Tuesday night. Rory Hale and Paul McElroy where called into the starting eleven Tuesday night and could retain their place but David Cushley and Gary Thompson will both hope for recall in that area. Jamie McGonigle didn't start alongside Jordan Owens last time out but he may also be recalled after his rest from playing in a string of games. A win is vital if not just to get points on the board and to give Crusaders a lifeline as we head to the business end of the season.
Institute sit at the foot of the table and simply must start getting points to leap frog Warrenpoint Town and give themselves a chance of staying in the Premiership. Coming off the back of a 4-0 home loss to Coleraine last week manager Sean Connor will look for a reaction and despite their low position will get his team going. Short on firepower and no win in any competition in fourteen games it may be an uphill task but anything can happen in football and Crusaders will be aware. Joe McCready is the main threat for Institute and the Crusaders back four will have to watch him if he plays.
So we go into another game and we want you to be at Seaview with us. Season tickets are valid and non season ticket holders can pay £12 and £8 at the turnstiles. Spend your afternoon at Seaview and get behind the lads as they look to get into third place and give themselves a chance. Be the 12th man. See you at the game. Keep The Faith.
